For this challenge, cast your minds to a far off place that looks remarkably like Canada, and consider the adventures of Stanley Hope and Mitchell Taylor, because today we are exploring Eerie, Indiana: the Other Dimension!

Eerie, Indiana would have killed it on post-Stranger Things Netflix. But back in 1991, it only lasted nineteen episodes. I don't remember when I saw this show, but it was at a time when I felt as if it was made for me (it helped that Joe Dante directed several episodes).

I'm hesitant to revisit it, but Eerie, Indiana, pop: 16,661, will always hold a special place in my heart, the ultimate nostalgia kick.

Tengo muy lindos recuerdos de esta serie, era de mis favoritas allá recién comenzados los noventas.

Ok, confession time: There's a reason I usually paint landscapes. They're my comfort zone - portraits definitely aren't.
But sometimes it feels good to tackle my weaknesses and try to learn something new. I never felt that way when trying to do any kind of sports. Or when I had to study back at school. But with painting, that's a whole other case. I love to challenge myself, learn from my mistakes and even try out topics that are kind of doomed to be a failure. Yet I'm really proud of this specific little portrait. (Though I cringe a lot when I see all the mistakes 😅)
