Just saw Gremlins for the first time in years. Noticed this Time Machine easter egg.

Bonsaipanda: Dante is a big fan of those movies, 'Matinee' is the love child of that.

DerBoopMeister: Dante is known for puting ton of easter eggs in his movies.

Cataleast: Gremlins 2 is chock-full of little easter eggs and nods to other media - some very obscure too - so I reckon this is completely planned.

BlueRonfar: They were also on the very first episode of Eerie Indiana!

Pikka: Yeah, T2 used twins for the T1000 trickery in several scenes (including the sadly cut processor reconfiguration).
